Day by day

Arrive Kochi
Fort Kochi in the afternoon: the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace and Jew Town.

Kochi to Munnar
130 km up into the Western Ghats, stopping at the Cheeyappara and Valara falls and the first of the tea estates.

Munnar
Eravikulam National Park for the Nilgiri tahr, Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala lake and the tea museum.

Munnar to Alleppey
Down to the coast and aboard a houseboat at Alleppey for the Vembanad backwaters. Lunch, dinner and the night on board.

Alleppey to Kochi
Disembark after breakfast and return to Kochi. Evening free, or a Kathakali performance if you would like one arranged.

Depart
Drop at Kochi airport or Ernakulam station.
